Although Geneva Airport acts as a center of the  city, Zurich Airport serves as the airline’s primary hub, and its headquarters are at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg nearby Basel, Switzerland. The airline is a division of the Lufthansa Group and a participant in Star Alliance, the biggest airline alliance in the world. Its major objective is to put passengers at ease while they’re traveling!

Baggage Policy

Carry-on

Passengers may also bring a purse, a laptop bag, or a shoulder bag in addition to their hand luggage. There are dimensional limitations for these, though. The size must be larger than 40 x 30 x 10 cm.

Additionally, passengers are permitted to bring a kid seat, prosthetics, and mobility aids like a pair of crutches.

Checked-in

One check-in bag’s total size cannot be greater than 158 cm.

Small children are permitted to use a collapsible pram. They are permitted to check in one bag weighing 23 kg under the Classic and Flex prices.

No bag that is checked may be heavier than 32 kg.

Check-in

In order to make your check-in process as simple as possible for you, SWISS Airlines offers you three choices.

Airport Check-in: The standard way to check in is to visit a SWISS counter at an airport or the majority of the country’s major train stations.

Advance Online Check-in: Simply check in up to 24 hours prior to your departure by visiting the SWISS website. Your boarding pass can alternatively be printed from the internet or delivered to your smartphone.

Electronic Kiosk Check-in: For quick check-in, look for the SWISS Airlines logo on a self-service computer kiosk.
